The Global Institute on Innovation Districts is a global-reaching not-for-profit organization that conducts independent, practice-oriented research on innovation districts and provides them with hands-on support.

Tom Osha

Chair

Tom is Board Chair at The Global Institute on Innovation Districts. He is employed by Wexford Science + Technology as Senior Vice President for Innovation and Economic Development.

Julie Wagner

Vice-chair

Julie is Vice-Chair of the Board at The Global Institute on Innovation Districts. She is also President and Co-Founder of GIID where she helps innovation districts with the ambition to advance them as practice leaders.

Graydon Pleasants

Treasurer

Graydon Pleasants led Winston-Salem’s Innovation Quarter from 2002–2023, overseeing $900M in investment and 2.1M sq. ft. of development. He was also instrumental in launching The Pearl a 26-sf development in Charlotte, NC (USA).

Pamela Puchalski

Secretary

Pamela is Vice President and Co-Founder of The Global Institute on Innovation Districts, where she manages GIID’s strategic partnerships with organizations and funders.

Eitan Kyiet

Member

Eitan is deputy CEO of CardiacSense, a medical device company dedicated to creating long-term monitoring solutions for patients, using a combination of sensors, AI and big-data analysis.

Carrie Kolasky

Member

Carrie serves as Chief Growth Officer at the Greater Washington Partnership, where she drives awareness for the organization’s initiatives.

Bruce Katz

Member

Bruce is Director of the Nowak Metro Finance Lab at the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Co-Founder of New Localism Advisors.
