The Brookings Institution
The Global Institute entered into a Tier 2 Partnership with The Brookings Institution, Metropolitan Policy Program in 2019. The Brookings Institution, a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington DC, published an influential and ground-breaking research brief on innovation districts in 2014. The piece, “The Rise of Innovation Districts: A New Geography of Innovation in America” was co-authored by Bruce Katz and Julie Wagner and seeded the creation of The Global Institute on Innovation Districts.
They are an industry leader in sustainable and regenerative design. ZGF embraced sustainable design as a core value long before “green” or “LEED” became common phrases.
